The principals of the firm, Charles E. Schuerenberg and Gary Allmon Grimes, combined their talents in 1972 and have a combined eighty (80) years of legal experience.

The firm has represented clients locally, throughout the State of Texas, and nationally.  Both attorneys are licensed to practice in all of the courts of the State of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.  Mr. Grimes is additionally licensed to practice before the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Claims.

Mr. Grimes has been selected as a Texas Super Lawyer and Mr. Schuerenberg's talents have been recognized by D Magazine as one of the top divorce lawyers in Dallas.  They have also been recognized as Top Attorneys in Texas by Newsweek magazine.

Both Mr. Schuerenberg and Mr. Grimes have maintained a strong commitment to the community and have served in professional and civic positions, such as President and member of the Board of Trustees of Dallas County Schools, President and member of the Board of Directors of the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce, President of the Mesquite Bar Association, the Pro Bono College of the State Bar of Texas, the Board of Trustees of the North Texas Arthritis Foundation, various youth sporting organizations, as well as many other community endeavors.   They were honored  to be selected as two of the 100 Heroes of Mesquite Independent School District in its centennial year.
